Alright, I once again slept through an entire afternoon/evening. I got home from work at about 4:45pm and passed out until 7:20pm. I stared at my phone in complete dispair as I popped out of bed and ran to my mirror terrified that I had once again slept through the morning and hadnt heard my alarms (I start work at 7AM, FYI) I stared at my face trying to figure out if I could get away with not washing my face and simply running out of the house. But then I noticed that it was really dark outside, and I remembered that I had passed out at 5pm, there was no way I could have slept through onto the following morning....right???
Lol, I looked at my phone again and realized that it said 7:20 PM, not AM and deflated as I laid back down onto my bed. I took out my contacts, took my (As of that moment, decreased by 10% medication) and went back to sleep. I woke up feeling groggy and tired this morning but I was at least on time.
I wonder if the Adrenalpin played a part in my grogginess and sleeping through the entire evening? I know I've done it before but it was my first day taking it and so I can't help but wonder if it played a role as it does tend to relax you a  bit. (The reason I didn't take it to begin with) I guess I'll continue to take it for now and see if it isn't simply a part of the process.

Sometimes when I'm sad or depressed I sleep a lot. So, I'm going to share that there is another possibility, it being emotional. During this weaning off process, I have come to have to face certain emotions that I pushed away or suppressed while on the Effexor. The Effexor, instead of allowing emotions to run their course, made me feel hollow or empty inside. Now that the Effexor is at a much lower dose, I'm finding myself emotional over things that have long been over with as if they were to have just happened. Yesterday was in fact one of those days. Just throwing it out there, could have been everything mixed up all together. Who knows.

Also, I reached out to Jim Harper regarding my wanting to go on a brisk walk and if it would be okay to do so as the program calls for no exercise. Turns out, a walk is A O K! But he did mention that heavy work outs are NOT recommended. Fall is here, so I'm looking forward to the occasional evening walks. I love me some deep red turning maple leaves.

Symptoms for Day 28
-Sleepiness (10)
-body aches (6)
-emotional (8)
-Grogginess (6) <-- I almost typo-ed that to "Frogginess" :) Haha

Before going to sleep I began week 5, which puts me at 62mg of the Effexor XR per night. As recommended by Jim Harper, I have added an extra omega 3 capsule to both my morning and afternoon scheduled dose. Today being the 29th, I'll update you tomorrow with my Day 29 Blog and let you know how the rest of the day goes.

Stay strong. Don't stress the small stuff. Surround yourself with people who support and uplift you. PRAY.
