It is now the time of year that we shop for those that we love, try and slow down enough to appreciate all that we have, and be thankful to the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. In many instances in the Bible it is mentioned that we should love our neighbors as our Lord loves us. It also states that we should walk in his likeness, meaning that we do (to our best ability) what the Lord Jesus would do. Which all comes down to one thing, give & show love to everyone.

A couple of days ago it was gifted to me the possibility of doing just that but for people hundreds and even thousands of miles away in countries of poverty or warfare through the people at Kiva. Kiva is website that allows for people anywhere in the world to offer loans to those who need it most. Each request for loan is accompanied by a story highlighting a struggle and hoping for a chance to obtain their dream of a better future by donating as little as $25 to any person(s) of your choice. There are four different people with four very different struggles that caught my attention and to whom I just today loaned $25 each. As they have the money to pay you back, the money will appear once again in your account on the Kiva website. Thus allowing you to rededicate to someone else at your discretion.
