Jeremiah 10:23
"LORD, I know that people's lives are not their own; it is not for them to direct their steps." NIV
So you're at a crossroad, you don't know which path to take. You are standing in a place unsure of how you even got to be there, but one thing is for sure, you need to make a choice in direction and you need to make it soon. And now, you've realized that it isn't even your decision to make, it's God's. Great.
How do you know what he wants of you?
How do you know what he wants you to do?
How do you know when you're supposed to move?
How do you know what his voice sounds like?

ANSWER:

Psalms 119:105
"Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path."

Whose 'Word'? His Word. His word is literally a map to everything. When you're hurting, seeking direction, when you're fearful, when you need faith or hope, when you feel alone, or unloved, when you feel lost or unworthy... His word is all that you need to make your way through your storm.
Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
NIV
We are biologically wired to want to control things that can affect us negatively. We are wired to want to protect ourselves, and soothe ourselves. But we do not and cannot control the world around us; that is where faith comes in. The sooner you believe that God has the ultimate say in where you go, that you are where you should be, and what becomes of you, the sooner you'll feel more confident that the steps you are taking are ordered and in the right direction.

Regardless of how different or similar our stories are, I too am at a crossroad. I am believing for one thing, yet I'll admit that I only want it if God wants it for me. I believe that God has plans to prosper me and not harm me, plans to give me hope and a future. It may not always be what I want, but He always provides me with what I need. It's been exactly a year since I began this blog, a year that I began this roller coaster of a journey and I know that I'm a stronger person because of it. Those of you still on the ride are regardless stronger than when you started... keep pushing forward, keep believing for more and trust in His promise that he will provide.

Jeremiah 33:6
"Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them; and I will reveal to them an abundance of peace and truth."
